|  |  |                 | | Ananda Leone | He was born in 1963 to Italian parents and grew up between Brazil, Argentina and Canada. In 1989 he finished his studies as a forestry engineer in Germany. He also trained as a ballet dancer at Teatro Guaira in Brazil. He first trained as a yoga teacher in 1982 at the Universidade Catolica do Parana in Brazil. In 1990 he established the Akademie for Yoga in Berlin. In 1992 he travelled to India and started to train in yoga and yoga therapy with Swami Gitananda and continued to train there for the next 4 years. In 1994 he became Yogacharya from this yoga lineage. In 1995 he graduated as a yoga teacher from BDY (the German professional association of Yoga teachers) in Dusseldorf.
| | He has participated in workshops all over the world with BKS Iyengar, Patabis Jois, Desikachar, Angela Farmer and Victor Van Kooten, Boris Tatzki, Leopoldo Chariarsi, Indra Devi, Sogyal Rinpoche, Dalai Lama, Per Vilayat Inayatkan, and Amrita Ananda Mayi. He was trained as a naturopath and did a three years training in traditional Chinese medicine. Since1992, he has organised yoga teachers training at the Academy in Berlin, and in 2000 the Akademie was officially recognised by the German Government for yoga education. He also runs yoga retreats in Spain, Greece, India, Brazil and Bali and teaches in German, English and Portugese. |
|  | Amanda Stone
| Amanda grew up in Australia, Malaysia and England, and has also lived in Singapore and Bali. After graduating from university in England, she worked in London for 10 years in fashion, travel, design, PR and adver- tising. After a year travelling in SE Asia and Australia, she began to work as a Human Rights campaigner with non governmental organisations in England. For the last 10 years she has been working in over 30 countries in Asia, Africa and Europe as Project Director for an international photo-documentary project that has been exhibited in more than 20 countries and has won several major awards. She has also worked as a communications and media adviser to international organisations including Greenpeace, Amnesty International, Free Tibet and Action Aid.
| | During this time she has also been a student of drama, voice therapy, aromatherapy, yoga, art therapy and body mind therapies in England, Spain, India, Asia and Australia. She has also participated in meditation and spiritual retreats with many masters in India, Tibet, Australia and England. She is currently studying Art Therapy and yoga in London, and working as a freelance consultant on several arts and education projects. |
